All the time everything is economy.  How many cards in your hand you can play?  I ask myself.   There is a very important skill I need to learn:  how to find the market based on people's needs for your profession?  I am studying open source softwares this time.   For an open source software, how to identify and locate the market based on people's needs?   Everything is economy?  Have you prepared yourself to seek the economical point from what happen around you?   Keep working hard and you can do it!

I have learned to be armed when change is coming.   The most important thing I realized is to act upon your ideas.  At the beginning, it is important to think outside of box.  At the same time, it is also important to find where the box is.  Check what constraints and limitations we have.  Then act upon how to improve the situation.    Act, act, and act.   Don't forget this most important part.   To dance with the thunderstorms, you need to be positive, be accountable, and act effectively and efficiently. 

The more I study how to become a better programmer, the more excited I feel.   I am thrilled that I eventually pursue problems in my mind at the right direction.   There is a gap between professional activities and decontextualized universities.  How to efficiently and effectively bridge the gap between the decontextualized schooling and professional workforce activities.  I would like to compile data and information, analyze them, and synthesize metadata based on them.  I am now doing this.   And I feel thrilled by my findings. 

I made a plan to read several books and compile the major proposals and terms that can benefit my work.  I read one sentence is that the greatest of all weaknesses is the fear of appearing weak.  I met a lot of people who pretend that they are strong and take whatever excuses etc.  A person should take her or his responsibility and provide positive options. 

I am very interested in how Open Source Software Development ( OSSD ) could be applied in Computer Science Education ( CSE ).  I did a brief reading for a paper titled "Situated Learning in Computer Science Education", which  discussed a few issues that should be paid attention by CS educators.  The author mentioned that it is important for CS educators to study practice activity characteristics of CS professional communities and structure similar activities in CS education so that students are able to transfer their knowledge easier to their practice after they finish their de -contextualized schooling.   The paper also lists several possible research projects for CS educators to follow to study the practice models of CS professionals.   I think this paper is very insightful to study both OSSD and CSE .  

I like the book titled "Bird by Bird".  The author talks about a few things in a funny way.  It is close to a how-to book.  But I've never felt bored when I was reading the book.  I was amazed that a book teaching you how to write can be written in that way.     The most amazing thing is that I always wanted to act when I was reading the book.  When I was reading it, I really was excited to use it in my real working life.   I want to be a better writer.  And I want to write anything that happened to me.  And I want to record what I have done and what I could improve.   I appreciate that I have the change to read the book.
